RedShelf has announced that UNT Dallas students may download online textbooks during the mandatory campus closure. The books will be available to you until May 25th and you will be limited to 7 books.
You will need to go to https://studentresponse.redshelf.com/ to create an account.
The following guide will walk you through the process of creating an account.
From https://studentresponse.redshelf.com/ left click on the Log in link located in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
From the Log In To Your Account page left click on the Create an Account link.
A confirmation email will be sent to your student email. Inside the email will be a confirmation link. Click on the link to confirm your account.
Once you follow these steps your account will be created.
Return to https://studentresponse.redshelf.com/ and left-click on the Log in link.
.Sign in with your student email address and the password you entered during the Create an Account process.
You should now be signed into your RedShelf account (notice your first name will appear in the upper right hand corner of the screen).
Enter the title or ISBN number of the text book you would like to download.
In the above example the title Voices of Freedom was entered.
Click the magnifying glass icon once a title or ISBN is entered into the search field.
If the book is available it will appear on the search result page.
Left-click on View Details.
On the book's detail page left-click Add to My Shelf.
From the My Shelf page left-click on the Start Reading button to open the book.
The book will open and can be navigated by the next page > button located on the left or right side of the page.
You can also search by keyword by left-clicking on the magnifying glass icon located on the upper left hand side of the page.
